Earlier this week, I published a Neuro Nugget on BIZCatalyst360 about social engagement and what actually happens in the brain when people like or share our social media posts. It was designed to be a springboard for a discussion about redefining engagement as thought leadership through responsive, meaningful dialogue and building relationships.
Every time we share or comment or like a post, we share a bit of ourselves with the world. Our beliefs and our values are embedded in the way we agree, disagree, challenge, or support the views of another. "Liking" a person's article says as much about your values as it does the author's. Let my experience be a cautionary tale.
